Breakfasts Around the World
I really liked this article in the NY Times about what children around the world eat for breakfast. In American culture, "breakfast" foods tend to be sugary. It's important to avoid overly sugary foods first thing in the morning as our bodies need a bit more protein and fat after our long rest/fast and to have the energy we need to start our day. Also, classifying foods as "breakfast" or "dinner" or "kid" foods is not helpful for understanding that healthy foods are just healthy foods, no matter what time we eat them or who they are served to.
